Inconsistant transfer speeds

Hi,
I am looking for any ideas on what may be causing my transfer speeds to drop to less than 1mbps when they are normally at 10mbps to 20mbps.
I have used rerouting from looking glass but it does not make a difference.

Running the same version of Filezilla from a remote location and accessing the same files I have no problems. I am wondering if the problem may be caused by my ISP? I have tried using a VPN but it actually slowed it down to 100kbps and I have no other throttling issues with IPTV or anythng else.

I am lost on what to try next. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

There are a variety of things that can cause slow transfer speeds, 1st option should be to reroute through Looking glass (like you did). After that it could be isp related or other things limiting your speed. Try a multi-threading client like lFtp (Provided on site) or CuteFtp, and some versions of Filezilla. It's a single connection that is being limited, so if you have 8 connections, you should get a total of 8X the speed (if that makes sense).
